Volunteering at Friendship Circle?

Learn skills to create change.

By volunteering at Friendship Circle you will learn the skills to lead the world through change. You will build your leadership skills, develop your emotional intelligence, learn about yourself and others, advocate, and grow as a person. And most importantly, you will meet fantastic people!

Application Process

Please start your volunteer application process by completing the relevant form depending on your age. Teen Volunteers will need to ask their parent/ guardian to complete the form with them. Adult Volunteers need to have the details of their Working with Children Check handy.

Once we have reviewed all of your volunteer forms and references, a program coordinator will be in touch to discuss upcoming volunteer opportunities and to arrange an orientation.

Volunteer Education

Our volunteers have regular access to workshops. We run orientation sessions for new and existing volunteers at the start of every year for our Sunday Circle program, and prior to each school holiday camp. Volunteers can also take part in first aid workshops, and we offer a selective leadership program for young adult volunteers.

Are You...

Leadership

Become a positive force in your community.

The Friendship Circle Leadership Program is a unique leadership development opportunity for outstanding volunteer leaders who have demonstrated a commitment to community, inclusion and Jewish values.

The program aims to empower our volunteer leaders to develop soft skills and growth mindsets to lead Friendship Circle programs and to be a positive force in their personal and professional lives. The program content is aligned with Jewish values and incorporates ideas from Jewish spirituality and history. This is an exciting opportunity to learn from industry experts, attend workshops on personal and professional growth and be inspired by Jewish teachings.

The program includes a weekend Leadership Conference, workshops and social events and is funded in part by the Education Heritage Foundation.
