Can I donate monthly?

Yes, we have a Monthly Giving Circle.

The donation amount you choose will be deducted on the same date each month, and you will receive an email receipt for each donation.

Why volunteer?

By volunteering at Friendship Circle you will learn the skills to lead the world through change. You will build your leadership skills, develop your emotional intelligence, learn about yourself and others, advocate, and grow as a person. And most importantly, you will meet fantastic people!

How do I volunteer?

We offer a range of program for Teen Volunteers (ages 13-18 and in high school), and Young Adult Volunteers (ages 18-30). Additionally, volunteers aged 18+ may join our Friendship Bakery delivery team.

What happens once I have completed my volunteer forms?

Once we have received your forms and references, one of our program coordinators will be in touch to discuss volunteer opportunities and arrange an orientation.

Where are your programs based?

The majority of our programs is offered in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs. Our school holiday camp is often based on the North Shore (with a free bus transfer from Bondi), and we can arrange home visits for families and volunteers living in the Eastern Suburbs, as well as the North.

Do you provide ongoing volunteer education?

Yes, new volunteers attend an orientation workshop prior to joining our programs. Additionally, we run workshops for new and existing volunteers at the start of every year for our Sunday Circle program, and prior to each school holiday Camp. Volunteers can also take part in first aid workshops, and we offer a selective leadership program for young adult volunteers.

Our goal is to help you, your family and your child to experience inclusion in our community. We focus on fostering friendships and offering opportunities for your child to have great experiences and make lots of happy memories with their friends.

What kind of programs do you offer?

We have a range of social programs for ages 4 to 30, including social hangouts for different age groups, sports and after-school clubs, school holiday camps and weekend getaways. Additionally, we offer special events for parents, such as Family Shabbat Dinners, Mums' and Dads' Nights, and parent educaton sessions.

Families do not need to be Jewish to join Friendship Circle.

Can we use NDIS funding for Friendship Circle programs?

Depending on your plan and the funding you have available, you may claim our program fees on your child's NDIS plan. We can provide an invoice, as well as a quote for your child's NDIS review.
